Having a natural talent for drawing & painting,  I have always struggled with the motivation to do it. Art was something that would hit me once in awhile, and would last a few days, then vanish.  It always has.

I have constantly searched for a way to let out my creativity and artistic ability without really putting it into a sketch book.  As far back as I can remember, I have always been "drawn" to cameras (pun intended!).  I remember looking at them for hours in the Brand Names catalog! (if you remember Brand Names, you know it has been awhile!) Crazy, I know. Most kids were looking at toys while I drooled over camera equipment. I used to love those old Minolta's!

Several years ago, it hit me.  I always had a "thing" for cameras, and a "thing" for art,  Why not put them together?  What better way to express my art, and fulfill my long time fantasy of owning one of those awesome cameras I drooled over as a kid?  Becoming a photographer was obviously the answer.

When I picked up my first camera, I knew for sure that this was my calling. It felt so right. It never gets old, tiring, or boring. I am 100% self taught, and I continue to learn every day. It is an artistic outlet, that I can unleash anytime, not just when I feel like it. When I pick up the camera, I immediately enter a "zone". Photography is also my lively hood. My family depends on me and my success. I take it very seriously.

A little bit about me. I am 35 years old, and reside in Tonawanda, NY. and I have the most wonderful little family! I am currently married to the best woman a man could ever ask for, and have 2 of the greatest kids on the planet, ages 9 and 12. As a true family man, Weddings, families and children/Newborns are my absolute favorite subjects to photograph! It is and will always be the only way to freeze a families love, or a childs innocence. Well, at least until cars fly, entire meals come in pill form, and you are able to actually DVR life by pausing, rewinding and recording real people. Then there would be no need for photographs. You could just rewind your child to that precious moment, show your family and friends, and simply hit the "live" button when done...but I am pretty sure, we don't have to worry about that for quite some time!

I hope you enjoyed my little story, and even more so, I hope it inspires you to hire me for your photography needs! Not because I need the work, but because most of my clients become friends, and you can never have too many.
